From our Heritage Collection
This antique American cottage chair in original red paint with caned panels has a warm, timeworn presence that reflects its mid-19th century roots. The airy caned seat and back lighten the deep red surface, while turned details and shaped side brackets give the chair its graceful, early cottage character. A sculptural accent for farmhouse, cottage, or traditionally layered interiors.
CONDITION
In good condition with wear consistent with age. The red paint has softened naturally over time. The caned seat and back appear to be later replacements that pair well with the older painted frame.
