Details

This late 19th to early 20th century telegraph crossarm section retains three original carved wooden insulator pins, each shaped and threaded to secure glass or porcelain insulators. Formed from substantial timber, it carries the weight and quiet authority of early American utility work. The weathered grain and deepened patina give it sculptural presence, and when mounted, it offers a distinctive hanging rail within a farmhouse, industrial, or thoughtfully collected interior.

CONDITION

In good condition with wear consistent with age and use. Loss of wood on the ends of the pegs.
