Details

An early 20th century wooden shoe last with a hinged instep and an elongated, low-profile form shaped for men’s footwear. Marked “8 B,” it retains a warm patina developed through use, with subtle tonal variation across the surface. The carved form and visible joinery give it a quiet sculptural presence, suited for shelves, desktops, or layered into a collected interior.

CONDITION

In good condition with wear consistent with age and use. The surface shows a warm, time-softened patina with scattered marks and darkened areas from handling. A small sliver of wood is missing along the edge of the hinged section, and there is light separation visible at the joint, which remains stable.
