An exceptionally wide two-board top gives this antique primitive table a broad, richly varied wood surface with a bold central seam. A deep apron and four slender tapered legs balance the substantial top, while softly rounded corners lend a graceful finish. Its restrained country form works beautifully as a dining table, worktable or library table.
In good, sturdy condition with wear consistent with age and use. The two-board top has a visible gap between the planks, along with surface cracks, scratches, stains and wear to the edges. There is general wear to the wood and finish throughout.
