This is a 19th century woven tapestry.  The decorative wall hanging depicts a bucolic scene of a little girl with her sheep in a rich greens, deep red, pink, and gold. Wall hangings enhance the decor of any room with their outstanding tactile features. An intriguingly refreshing art display. A consideration would be to make a lumbar pillow for a couch, bed or daybed.

CONDITION

In fair to good condition with wear consistent with age and use. Some thinning and loss of weave to the textile and fraying at the edges. No wall mounts included.
