Details

A pair of early 20th century bentwood stools defined by a round seat and continuous curved supports that create a repeating, architectural rhythm through the frame. The darker finish settles into the wood, drawing out tonal variation and highlighting the movement of the bentwood construction. A circular stretcher introduces balance and structure, grounding the otherwise open form. The proportions feel both light and present, carrying easily into a kitchen, bar, or interior where material and line shape the composition.

CONDITION

In good condition with wear consistent with age and use. The finish has aged a little more one one stool, and one of the wooden seats has a slender crack and is slightly pulled up on one corner.
