This early 20th-century wooden noisemaker alarm is painted in bold red, white, and blue. Built to create a loud, piercing sound, it was used to signal air raids, scare animals off farmland, or rally crowds in stadiums. With its weathered paint and utilitarian form, it captures the look of early Americana folk art and reflects the resourceful tools of the time.
