Details

Late 19th-century cane-seat side chairs with a tall, narrow profile and gently arched crest rails. The turned spindles and warm wood tone give the pair an early American presence suited to farmhouse, cottage, and classic interiors. The caned seats offer a clean, airy contrast to the darker frame, and the proportions make them easy to place at a dining table, writing desk, or hallway.

CONDITION

In good condition with wear consistent with age and use. General finish wear and small areas of softened tone throughout the frames. One chair has a small, stable crack at the back of the seat frame.
