This mid-century Coca-Cola button sign features the classic “Drink Coca-Cola in Bottles” slogan across a richly variegated surface. An old pale yellow wash softens the original red and white graphics into layers of cream, faded scarlet and exposed metal. The round format and recognizable script make it a striking piece of vintage advertising and wall art with an artful, timeworn character.
In good condition with wear consistent with age and outdoor use. As found, the sign retains an old pale yellow painted wash over the original Coca-Cola graphics. There is extensive fading, paint loss, oxidation, surface wear and discoloration throughout, along with old paint and drips on the reverse and an added wire for hanging.
