Details

A mid-century Colonial Revival spring rocking chair with a beautifully shaped wood frame and distinctive spindle back. Turned posts, sculpted arms, and a curved crest rail create a strong silhouette, balanced by rust-orange tweed cushions and a pleated skirt. The combination of traditional woodwork and richly textured upholstery gives the chair warmth and personality, with a spring mechanism beneath the seat allowing it to rock above the stationary four-leg base.

CONDITION

In good condition with wear consistent with age and use. General finish wear to the wood. Upholstery shows age, with some loss of suppleness to the skirt and ties.
