This set of four vintage mid-century wood chairs pairs American folk design with a strong sculptural profile. Distinctive shaped legs and a richly worn finish give the simple forms a subtle Brutalist quality, bringing depth and character around a dining table. An expressive set with an easy place in rustic modern, farmhouse and more eclectic interiors.

CONDITION

In good sturdy condition with wear consistent with age and use. There is general wear and variation to the finish; the chairs have been waxed. Two chairs have secure brace repairs beneath the seats. A partially legible manufacturer’s stamp includes Rockford, Illinois.
