A whimsical pair of vintage ceramic salt and pepper shakers depicting two figures in elaborate headdresses and colorful dress. Their rounded silhouettes, expressive faces, and painted details capture the playful spirit of mid-century novelty ceramics. One is marked USA on the underside. Circa 1940s–1950s.

CONDITION

In good condition with wear consistent with age and use. Both figures show paint loss and surface wear, with areas of exposed ceramic. Cork stoppers are present.
