Details

An expressive mid-century deer sculpture composed of slender, curving metal rods that trace the animal's elongated body, graceful neck, and branching antlers. Its open, architectural framework gives the figure a light, graphic quality, while the white-painted metal and warm reddish-brown oxidation create a richly textured surface. Equally compelling in a country house interior, conservatory, or covered garden setting, the sculpture offers a distinctive interpretation of traditional animal forms.

CONDITION

In good condition with wear consistent with age and use. The white-painted metal has areas of rust, oxidation, and paint loss throughout, as shown in the photographs.
