A vintage 1962 Cold War Civil Defense SK IV sanitation kit drum issued by the Office of Civil Defense, Department of Defense. The cylindrical fiberboard container carries its original printed markings listing the sanitation supplies once intended for use by fifty persons. The metal base, fitted lid, and bold government typography create a distinctly graphic industrial look. Its warm aged surface and simple form make it a striking storage bin or sculptural accent.

CONDITION

In good condition with wear consistent with age.
