A 1930s Tell City Chair Company rush seat chair with a graceful ladder back and beautifully detailed dark wood frame. Curved back slats, turned posts and a beaded front stretcher give the classic form a distinctive decorative edge, paired with the natural texture of woven rush. Smaller in scale, it makes an especially good occasional chair, with the aged finish bringing richness and depth to the wood.

CONDITION

In good vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use. Wear to the wood finish as shown.
