vintage 1970s Victor mallard hen duck decoy

This 1970s Victor mallard hen duck decoy features a molded feathered body, painted plumage, glass eyes, and its original chain with round anchor weight. Made in Italy for Woodstream Corp. of Lititz, Pennsylvania, the richly worn painted surface gives this old sporting piece depth and character. Its sculptural waterfowl form brings a collected element to a country house, lake house, cabin, or layered interior.

CONDITION

In good vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use. There is wear and loss to the painted finish, including areas of exposed blue and white paint, along with oxidation to the chain and weight.
