Details

Early 20th-century American waxed canvas satchel with leather trim and metal hardware. This style of flat, flap-front bag was widely used for school books, papers, and documents, as well as general utility, during the period. An authentic example of early Americana workwear defined by its materials and form.

CONDITION

Surface wear is present, most notably at the corners, consistent with age and use. The leather closure straps are no longer present.
