An original 1930s Duxbak hunting field coat cut from heavyweight tan duck canvas with a contrasting corduroy collar, three-pocket front, adjustable back belt, and sporting construction. Years of field wear have transformed the canvas into a layered palette of faded khaki, ochre, and tobacco brown, giving the coat the visual depth sought after in early American workwear. Its relaxed proportions and straightforward utility translate particularly well worn today over denim, knitwear, or a simple tee.
In good vintage condition with heavy wear consistent with age and use. The canvas shows fading, staining, marks, scattered holes, fraying, and areas of fabric loss, particularly along the cuffs and lower edges. The original label is heavily worn. Please see photos for details.
