This birch bark canoe model features a handcrafted birch bark hull and two wooden bench seats inside. Designed as a replica of traditional Native American birch bark canoes, this miniature canoe includes a hanging string for easy display. It is most likely an Ojibwe piece and makes a beautiful decorative item that reflects Indigenous craftsmanship and heritage.

CONDITION

In good condition with wear consistent with age and use.  There is a small repair on the back bench seat where the original tie bindings on one side are missing and have been carefully secured with adhesive, adding character without detracting from the piece.
