A vintage ice cream parlor chair dating to the early 20th century, featuring a sculptural wire back in the classic spectacle form. The painted metal frame is finished in a rich blue tone, with twisted detailing along the back and legs that defines the silhouette. Finished with a round wood seat, this style was commonly used in cafés and soda fountains of the period. A strong accent piece for collected interiors, entryways, or as occasional seating.
CONDITION
In good condition with great character from wear consistent with age and use. The painted metal shows scattered areas of wear and small spots of oxidation. The wood veneer seat shows lifting and blistering to the surface, developed over time and visible in photos.
