vintage eagle bookends

This pair of vintage bookends features cast metal eagle plaques mounted to arched wood forms with a rich dark finish. The design reflects the Colonial Revival movement and the patriotic Americana styling popular in traditional libraries, offices, and studies during the 1920s–1940s. The combination of warm wood grain and aged metal gives the pair a strong architectural presence on a shelf or desktop.
