This vintage hand painted rawhide drum features a large thunderbird motif on one side and stylized bird figures on the reverse. The stretched leather hide, rawhide lacing, and hand drawn decoration give the piece a rustic Southwestern character with strong folk art appeal. Its shallow frame and graphic imagery make it especially well suited for wall display in cabin, lodge, eclectic, or Primitive-inspired interiors.
In good condition with wear consistent with age and use. Minor surface wear and variation to the rawhide and painted decoration from age.
