Details

This vintage hand-painted mallard duck decoy has a broad, sculptural form with detailed wings and a beautifully weathered palette of muted gray, deep green, and warm ochre. A handsome piece of American sporting folk art for an English study, rustic cabin, or collected interior. Signed Harry Schneider on the underside with an incised HS monogram. Circa 1980s.

CONDITION

In good condition with wear consistent with age and use. The painted surface shows wear, cracking, scattered losses, and areas of exposed material throughout.
