This vintage mid-century industrial rolling stool pairs a red cast iron tractor seat with a cream painted tubular steel base, circular footrest, and four casters. The contrast of worn red and cream paint gives the stool a wonderfully graphic quality, with an unexpected mix of farm and industrial design and a distinctly Americana character.

CONDITION

In good condition with wear consistent with age and use. The stool has paint loss, surface oxidation, scratches, and wear throughout. The cast iron seat features a deer, “J D,” and 1847 motif and is a later fantasy reproduction referencing John Deere.
