Details

A vintage studio pottery tea set composed of a stoneware teapot and four coordinating mugs, circa 1970s. Deep iron-brown glaze meets a softly speckled cream finish, creating a beautiful interplay of color and texture across the hand-thrown forms.

The teapot is distinguished by its sweeping bamboo carrying handle, sculpted ceramic rear handle, and fitted lid. Four matching mugs complete the ensemble, each finished with the same earthy glaze combination. The handcrafted forms and rich surface variations bring an artisanal element to a collected kitchen or dining room.

Each piece bears a hand-painted potter's mark on the underside.

CONDITION

In good condition with wear consistent with age and use. Small chip on teapot spout.
