vintage Neumann & Bennetts Plasti-Duk scaup decoy

A vintage 1950s Neumann & Bennetts Plasti-Duk hunting decoy modeled as a drake scaup, traditionally known as a bluebill. Its molded form is painted in deep black and aged cream with feather detailing across the wings, while decades of wear have created a beautifully weathered sporting surface. The decoy retains its long anchor line and lead weight, an especially good detail when displayed in a library, lake house, lodge or collected sporting interior.

CONDITION

In good condition with wear consistent with age and use. The painted surface has extensive age-related cracking, flaking, paint loss, scratches and wear as shown. The decoy retains its anchor line and weight.
