Details

A vintage 1920s-1930s parcel post case by P. Becker & Co. of Chicago, made from dark vulcanized fiber with woven canvas straps and metal hardware. Its low rectangular form is punctuated by old shipping labels and remnants across the exterior, while the original maker’s label remains inside. Especially good stacked with antique luggage, tucked beneath a console, or used as storage in an entry, library, or study.

CONDITION

In good condition with wear consistent with age and use. Surface wear, scuffs, label remnants, oxidation to the hardware, and wear and fraying to the straps are present.
