vintage Park painted steel tool box

A mid-century Park Mfg. Co. Model 18H steel tool box with a hip-roof lid, metal carrying handle, and original maker’s label. Layers of blue-green paint, exposed steel, and warm oxidation create a beautifully graphic surface across the simple workshop form. Its long proportions make it an interesting storage piece for books, art supplies, garden tools, or everyday objects, while the color and original Park label give it enough visual presence to sit out on open shelving or a console. Circa 1950s–1960s.

CONDITION

In good condition with wear consistent with age and use. The painted surface shows areas of paint loss, oxidation, scratches, and marks throughout. The original Park label remains attached.
