This set of four antique dining chairs from the 1930s–1940s was made by the Phoenix Chair Company. Each chair features spool-turned front legs and gently curved ladder backs with a flowing, sculptural design. The top rails are hand-painted with floral crests, adding a decorative detail that reflects the era. The floral upholstered seats retain their original character, with a clear vinyl layer that was commonly added at the time.
CONDITION
In good vintage condition with age-appropriate wear. The finish shows minor wear, and the hand-painted floral details have gentle fading that adds to their antique character. The clear vinyl seat covers show some surface wear, including a small tear on one. One chair has a repaired crack on the side rail, all consistent with decades of use and care.
