From our Heritage Collection

A vintage sand art collection circa late 1930s. The rare collection was crafted to represent the "Earth Forms in different sections of the United States. Reference and research from Soils and Men 1938 Yearbook of Agriculture." It includes a three tier rack with a plexiglass front and 18 glass jars filled with colored sand. The stunning combination of colors along with its natural, organic form instantaneously creates a vibrant objet d'art. Display on its original rack or layer with exiting collections on a bookshelf or mantel. The collection could also be divided and placed throughout the home, specifically a bathroom, kitchen or office.

Sand art and frame is in good condition with wear consistent with age and use. There is a break in the plexiglass front at the top.
