vintage studio pottery plate

A vintage studio pottery plate with a low, open form and softly irregular rim. An olive-toned ground is layered with goldenrod glaze that moves across the surface in an abstract pattern, framed by a warm brown edge. The underside is signed by the artist. It settles easily into farmhouse, primitive, and organic modern spaces, whether placed on a table, shelf, or wall.

CONDITION

In good condition with wear consistent with age and use. Center of plate has a rough spot, consistent with a firing flaw.
